For personal training, whether at one of our centres or at home, the initial assessment is free and comes with no obligation. You tell us what you want to achieve and we look at your starting point: fitness level, past injuries, availability and habits.

It depends on the format (one-to-one, with a partner, at home or online), how many sessions you do each week, and whether you choose single sessions or a session pack, which works out cheaper per session.

At the free initial assessment we work out what you need and give you a fixed quote, with no obligation.

If you want to keep costs down, training with a partner lowers the price per person because you share the trainer's time, and online training is usually more affordable than in-person sessions.

Not for strength training, high-performance training, injury rehabilitation or postural re-education: for these we work with flexible plans and session packs, with no minimum commitment.

If you're interested in another type of training, ask us about the terms before you start.

We have three centres in Barcelona: Welfare Muntaner, at Carrer de Muntaner, 298 (08021, Sant Gervasi); Welfare Santaló, at Carrer de Santaló, 15 (08021, Sant Gervasi); and Welfare Girona, at Carrer de Girona, 177 (08037, Eixample).

Across the three centres we bring together personal training, physiotherapy, osteopathy and nutrition, plus a coworking space for sports professionals.

W | Hybrid, our specialist Hyrox centre, is at the same address: Carrer de Girona, 177.

Yes, and it's a great time to do it with a trainer: from day one we teach you the correct technique so you avoid injuries and bad habits.

For example, in functional training we start with the very basics and progress step by step; in strength training you first learn to perform each movement properly and control the weight; in boxing we start with no contact or sparring; and if you're starting from scratch to prepare for the physical tests of a public-sector entrance exam, the first step is building your technical foundations.

The ideal frequency depends on your goals, but we generally recommend 2 or 3 sessions a week. You can also get very good results with just one session a week if you combine it with training on your own.

The first physical changes usually start to show between weeks four and six if you train consistently.

Yes. For home training, we come to you with a tailor-made plan. You don't need to buy any equipment to start: we work with whatever you have, and if you have nothing, your trainer brings the basics. If space is tight, we set up stations that fit in 2 to 3 m², and we can also train in a park or on a terrace.

Online, you get a plan designed for you, videos of every exercise in the app, video calls so your trainer can watch you train in real time and correct your technique, and a progress review every 2 to 4 weeks. We adapt the plan to the equipment you have; if you only have your own body weight, it will be a functional training programme.

With a partner, you share a trainer and each of you works at your own level within the same exercise, because we adjust the load, the reps or the complexity. For example, one of you might use 5 kg dumbbells and the other 10 kg.

Yes, and the first step is to see what stage you're at. In the early stages, physiotherapy deals with pain, mobility and soft tissue, and treats problems such as muscle knots, herniated discs and lower back pain. After that, we take care of the rehab phase: we work on strength, load tolerance and getting you back to your sport.

Rehab always starts with a free initial assessment. It usually involves 1 or 2 sessions a week, depending on your situation and your sport, and between sessions we give you short exercises to do at home. Because we share our space with physiotherapists and other health professionals, we review your plan as a team when needed.

If you're concerned about your posture or have everyday aches, postural re-education may suit you better. It's training, not physiotherapy, and if you need clinical support we coordinate with the physiotherapy team.

Comfortable sportswear, suitable trainers, a towel and a water bottle. At our centres, we provide all the training equipment.

Yes, at W | Hybrid by Welfare, Carrer de Girona, 177 (08037, Eixample), a few minutes from Verdaguer (L4) and Sagrada Família (L5) metro stations. It's designed exclusively to train for Hyrox the way it's raced, with official equipment and Hyrox-certified coaches.

Sessions are 50-minute bootcamps in groups of 12 to 16 people, in three formats: W Hyrox Power, Engine and Complete. With 2 or 3 sessions a week you'll already see clear improvements in your endurance and in your splits at each station; if you're preparing for a race, it's usual to step up to 3 or 4.

No previous experience is needed: the coaches adapt the load and intensity to your level. You can book a trial class with official equipment for €11, and check up-to-date timetables, formats and prices on the official W | Hybrid website, whybrid.es, or get in touch with us.
